Not this side, but the other side of the arc of this rainbow was literally touching the ground. Oh, how I wish I had got a picture! It was incredible. And I admit, I was wondering if there was a pot of gold over there... :^) You can also see a faint, second arc above the main one if you look closely.
Mmm this morning just so happened to have the coolest looking sky ever. In one direction, there was this here mixture of gold and blue-silver sky, and in the other direction, was a massive, brilliant, double rainbow that literally touched the ground on the other side of the river I live near.
